Lactation Care Provider Act Advisory Committee
The Lactation Care Provider Act Advisory Committee (LCPAAC) was created by the Board under the statutory authority of House Bill 138, Section 3.J to assist the Board in its duty to license, monitor, and regulate the practice of lactation care providers. The committee must consist of at least one member who is a board member and at least two members who are experts in lactation. The inaugural LCPAAC committee was comprised of nine members, chaired by Candice Padilla. Each member serves a two-year term.
